Culpeper Gardens Senior Living Community
A group of employee volunteers spent Saturday playing bingo with residents of Culpeper Gardens, a low-income senior living community in Arlington。
Project Backpack and Project Winter Cheer
We worked with Offender Assistance and Rehabilitation on the Backpack Project and the Winter Cheer Project.。Arlington Community Financial Alliance members and staff, as well as community members, donated school supplies and holiday gifts for children whose parents are incarcerated。
Employee donation campaign
Our Cultural Development Committee launched our first employee matching donation campaign in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month。Through fundraising and employer matching, we donated more than $2,000 to the Women's Health Center at the Arlington Free Clinic。

Best Arlington party。Non-profit focus
We celebrated being named "Best Community Bank" by Arlington Magazine at the Best Party in Arlington, allowing guests to help us make donations to some of our partner nonprofits。Edu-Futuro, Bridges to Independence, and Arlington Thrive。
Independence Bridge "lemonade station
Each year, we partner with Bridge to Independence to teach financial education and entrepreneurship to children who encounter homelessness。Students run lemonade stands around Arlington, and the funds raised are deposited into their first savings account with us。
Local chamber of commerce
We are passionate about local businesses, which is why we are actively involved with the local Chamber of Commerce。We sponsor a wide variety of projects and regularly attend events to connect with other businesses。We serve on the board and multiple committees of the Arlington Chamber of Commerce。
Arlington Career Center Student Savings account grant matching
Students from the Ready for Work Program received a grant from the Arlington Community Foundation to fund their first savings account。We allocate funds to student accounts with additional deposits and provide branch visits and financial education opportunities to introduce them to banking。
